Another Christmas for the books and boy am I tired. We had a very exciting and extremely busy few days. For Christmas Eve we headed to church and then hosted the entire Johnson side over for dinner. Bernie did a great job with the prime rib and I did my best to keep everything else in order. We had the annual visit from Santa and we had some very excited little ones jumping up and down when he came in from the living room (down the chimney of course). The kids got to sit on his lap and tell him if they had been good all year. Christmas morning we had breakfast and opened presents just the four of us. The big hit this year for Ashley was her bouncing Tigger and her Doc McStuffins doctor bad. Before she was even done opening presents she had all her stuffed animals set up in a line up for their checkups as she sang the Doc McStuffins theme song and promised them that, "this won't hurt." Nanny and Gramps got Ella and Ashley a Leap pad and this was a hit for Ella she didn't put it down for hours. We then headed up to Seattle to have Christmas with my family. It was so much fun celebrating Allison's first Christmas with her and Ella couldn't get enough of her she wanted to hold her the entire day. Once we opened gifts and spent some quality family time together we headed to Mill Creek to my cousin Heather's house who was hosting my mom's entire family for dinner. Needless to say when we got home Christmas night we had two very tired girls on our hands as well as an exhausted mom and dad. The girls were spoiled just like always and Bernie had a few surprises for me too. I loved watching the joy and excitement on their faces Christmas morning and teaching them the true meaning of the season!
