Leavenworth

We went to the Leavenworth Christmas Lighting Festival this past weekend...wow what an amazing place to be during the holidays. There was snow on the ground and the spirit of Christmas was everywhere. It was colder than we had anticipated but we stayed as bundled up as we could and had such a fun time. Ella went sledding for the first time and saw Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas, and Santa Claus. I can't wait to take the girls in the coming years what a great family tradition to start:)

Santa Baby

Ella was not as big of a fan of Santa as she was last year. She did pretty good until I put her on his lap and then her eyes got really big and she said, "No, No, No." I got one picture of her on his lap and then we opted for her to ride the horse in front of Santa. This seemed to work better but she was still keeping her eye on him. As we left Ella said, "Ho, Ho, Ho!" I guess that's better than No, No, No!

Bike Fun

Since we have had such beautiful crip clear weather Ella and I have been spending some time in the afternoon outside. Ella's favorite thing to do is ride her bike, or rather be pushed on her bike. Her feet reach the pedals and she almost has it down to do it by herself but she would rather be pushed...she goes much faster that way!

Oh Christmas Tree

This year we decided to go to a tree farm and cut down our Christmas tree. This was a first for all three of us and it was a lot of fun although we did learn a few things for next years trip. We found a wonderful place that had a ton of trees to choose from and a carriage drawn by Clydesdales that comes around and picks you up, this was the highlight for Ella! When looking for the perfect tree Ella kept finding ones that were just her size! I think we found our best tree yet :)Ella's first choice! On the hunt for the perfect tree Her second choice The perfect tree

Phoenix Vacation

We spent nine days in Phoenix with my parents and had a great time. Since they live an hour away we don't get to see them as much as we would like so this was a perfect opportunity for us to all get a vacation and for them to spend some quality time with Ella. The mornings were spent walking and feeding the ducks (Ella's favorite thing to do) while the guys golfed and the afternoons were spent at the pool. Ella really took to the water this trip making it that much more clear that I need to get her back into swimming lessons, it took the work of all four of us to keep up with her. She was jumping in from the side of the pool and putting her head under water, kicking her feet and even reaching her arms out at times. She seems to have no fear...which made us all have that much more fear! But it was a lot of fun watching her :) Thanks Mom and Dad for a great trip!

IT'S A GIRL!

We found out that we are having another little girl! Although I thought it would be fun to have a girl and a boy I am really starting to get excited about two little girls. I think Ella will be so lucky to have a sister so close in age that she can play with and secretly I have always wanted two little girls so that I could dress them the same! Bernie said he is destined to be surrounded by beautiful girls...he is so great with Ella that I can only imagine him with two little girls to adore. I think the fun is just beginning! I wanted to post some of my ultrasound photos but have to scan them in and haven't gotten around to it yet, but hopfully they will be coming soon!

More of Halloween 2009

Being pregnant made a costume a little more difficult to find so I decided that we could dress up like Juno MacGuff and Paulie Bleeker. The best part about this costume was I got to have a big slurpee!Bernie's buddies from work!
Ella with Corey, Miley and Kellen. It was a little difficult to get them to all sit still for this picture but we tried our best :) Isabella was a cheerleader and her brother Joey the football player was asleep on the couch!

Halloween Fun

Halloween has been so much more fun this year with Ella. When wearing her costume she goes around saying buzzzzz.
We had a playdate with some friends and decided we would dress the kids up to get a little more use out of their costumes. We attempted a group picture and this is as good as it got...we are missing the ladybug and the monkey but it was so cute to see all the kids dressed up together.
