Smarty Pants
Last night Ella and Ashley were playing "Mommy and Daddy." They were fighting over who was going to get to be the daddy. I was interested in what this game was (and why no one wanted to be the mommy) so I asked Ella what does the mommy do and her response was "laundry" then I asked what does the daddy do and she said "go to golfing!" This girl definitely has the roles down in our household :)

Shake it, Shake it baby!
Ella has been taking a ballet and tumbling class since September. Her end of the year recital was on Saturday. I wasn't able to record the actual performance but here is the dress rehearsal. She loved her class and had a great time with some of her favorite friends. Of course any time you have a group of three and four year olds dancing around in tutus it's pretty much the cutest thing ever!

Preschool Graduate
Ella graduated from her second year of preschool. She had a wonderful year and her teachers definitely got to know her very well. At her graduation each child got a certificate of achievement with three words that described them. Ellas words were serious, caution and sensitive...yep that about sums it up.
Ashley's First Haircut
It took just over two years to grow enough hair for Ashley to get her very first haircut. She loved every second of it and sat perfectly still for Crystal. She instantly looked like a big girl to me!

Duck Parade
We always go to the University Place Duck parade but this year the girls were actually in the parade. Ella and Ashley's preschool Little Scholars walks together through the parade. The girls had a blast throwing out candy to all the kids along the parade route and had a fun time afterwards at the UP Firehouse that had tons of events going on for everyone of all ages.

Goodbye Apollo
This past weekend we said goodbye to our Apollo boy. He was such a big part of our family and was such a loving and loyal friend. I miss him more than I could ever explain. Thank you Apollo for always loving us unconditionally and being the best dog any family could ever ask for, not a day will go by that you won't be missed.
Olympic Game Farm
Bernie had a golf tournament in Sequim so we thought it was a great excuse to take the girls for an overnight stay and visit the Olympic Game Farm. We didn't quite know what to expect, what an awesome place we will be going back again. We went to the farm twice and spent an afternoon at the beach and took the kids for an evening swim in the hotel pool. A great family adventure :)
Ella's Special Day
Ella had her special day at school and Ashley was so excited to be included with the big kids. Ella and I made a special board with pictures of all her favorite things and she got to bring a special snack of pink and white animal cookies. A special day for a very special girl.
