Twinkle Toes

Ella started ballet today and I am pretty sure it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. There was only one other girl in her class and Ella said, "where are all the other little ballerina's?" Although she was a little nervous at the start she soon fell right into the swing of things and I was very proud of how well she followed directions and listened to her instructor. She was so excited when we left about all that she learned and said she wanted to practice and show daddy at home. She has already asked when we are going back and of course when she can wear her ballet shoes again :)

Fair Day

We took the girls to the Puyallup Fair this week, we started by energizing ourselves with elephant ears!
This was Ashley's first Elephant ear and as you can tell she was a big fan!

A ride on the small elephant was a must

Ella fell in love with the bubble station

Ashley had a blast at the petting zoo...

she got down and dirty with the goats! As usual this girls still has no fear

Ella enjoyed the acrobatic show and told us that she did not want to go on any rides this year.

And we learned that our children are still afraid of characters!

All in all a great day at the fair!

First Day of Preschool

Today was Ella's first day of preschool, she actually went to a two year old class two days a week last year but now she is in the big three year old class three times a week. I can not get over how grown up my baby is, the changes that have taken place in the past year are mind boggling. Ella speaks so clearly now and has an amazing memory, she is learning her letters, numbers and how to write her name. She was so excited to go to her first day of preschool and I can not wait to see the changes that will take place this year although a little sad that my baby is growing up so fast..tear, tear.

Saying goodbye to summer

Saying goodbye to summer with a beautiful wedding and one last weekend at the pool. Now it's time to get back into the swing of things.

My Little Pony

Auntie Nannet and Uncle Papa took the girls to a carnival at their church. There was bounce houses, games, all kinds of treats and even pony rides. The girls came home exhausted and I knew they had a great time.

A trip to the Zoo

Another great zoo day for the books!

We had some great views of the animals...this one in particular was a little closer than I prefer but still pretty neat.

The elephants are always one of my favorite

The baby leopards were adorable

Ella got her favorite snack...popcorn

Ashley fed the goats for the first time

and had her first carousel ride...

which turned into three carousel rides because she loved it so much!
