Family Time

I took the girls up to Seattle and we made the rounds visiting family. We went to Boppy's office so the girls could see where he works for the next two weeks now that he has finally decided to retire after working at the same company for over 25 years. We are so excited to have Boppy around more to spend time with his granddaughters that just adore him! After visiting Boppy we headed to Uncle Eddie and Auntie Chrissy's house for a nice dinner with Great Grammy! It was a very long day but a lot of fun :)

Ella Two Years and Ashley Three Months

Ella's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated Ella's second birthday this weekend. We had a much smaller group than last year which made things a little less hectic. For Ella's birthday present we got her a bounce house which up until the 4th of July she was completely scared of. The first time I blew it up for her she said, "No Mommy, it's a monster!" After the 4th of July she seems to have gotten over her fears and now absolutely loves her bounce house! I am sure this will be getting a lot of use this summer. It was a great party, we had perfect weather luckily it cooled off since the two days before were up to 90 degree days. The kids jumped in the bounce house, played in the play room, ate cupcakes and just had a ball! I still can't get over the fact that our little girl is TWO!!!! Ella still manages to amaze us everyday and we are so in love with this little girl who has turned our world upside down! Happy 2nd Birthday Princess Ella!

First Day on the Boat

Bernie and I were able to get out and enjoy our first day this year on the boat. It was a beautiful day and so nice to spend some time just him and I. We were out on the Sound which we don't do often, which btw I think needs to change because we had so much fun! We went to the Tides Tavern for lunch and spent a lot of time just exploring different places and looking at the beautiful houses on the water. We took a swim at Horse Head Bay which seriously felt like a lake and then ended our night at our friends beach house on Fox Island. Bernie's parents brought Ella over to Fox Island to play with the other kids and BBQ while Ashley got spoiled with attention at her Auntie Janet's house :) It was a perfect summer day, we are hoping for many more just like it!
