Ella is growing up so quickly and seems to tell me something on a daily basis that reminds me of this. She is so thoughtful and sweet and has the biggest heart for a four and a half year old. When we went to her open house at school last week each of the kids put together a project of what they want to be when they grow up, Ella says she wants to be a mommy when she grows up. Although the week leading up to this she was asking me a lot of questions, mostly about how she was in my belly and then she was wondering how she got out of my belly. Hmmm I wasn't sure what the best way to explain this to a four year old was so I told her that the doctor opened up my belly when she was ready to come out. This seemed to be a good enough response for her and she went on her way. Days later she comes in and says, "mom i decided that I don't want to be a mommy when I grow up because I will be too scared for the doctor to open up my tummy and I don't want to grow up because then I won't live here anymore."Ahhh this little girl melts my heart all the time. She is also pretty smart she put together this picnic for me in her room after we played for awhile I told her it was time to clean up and her response was, "Well mommy I made the picnic so you need to do the cleaning up... it's only fair!" This sweet girl is such a blessing to us and we are so lucky to watch her grow and be her parents. Wow four and a half years goes quick!
