The Perfect Tree!

We headed out today to do our annual tree cutting and again found a beautiful tree. The girls are finally at the age where they can both run around in search of the perfect tree and I love that everyones idea of the perfect tree is different. As always my girls loved the little trees and were trying to find the smallest  tree they could. We are getting a head start with the holidays this year and the house is almost completely decorated before December 1st. PJ our elf made his first appearance last night and the girls couldn't be more excited, it is amazing what these little girls will do for their elf friend that they won't do for their mom. I love to hear Ella try to explain the holiday season to Ashley, who seems to be really understanding this year, although a few things still throw her off. In the car the other day we were listening to Christmas music and Santa Baby came on the radio. Ashley started screaming in her very stern voice, "SANTA IS NOT A BABY!" I am doing my best to treasure all of these moments it seems these girls are growing up in a flash. I can not wait to watch the holiday season through the eyes of a two and four year old!

Disney Princesses on Ice

Last night I took the girls to Disney Princesses on Ice, it was a fantastic show I highly recommend it! I tried to keep it a surprise but apparently you can't get much over on Ella. When I told her what the surprise was she said, "MOM I already knew that, I heard you talking!" Although I did get to surprise her that her Mammy was coming and her bestie Natalie too. The girls were all dressed up in their princess best along with wands and tiaras. It was such a fun night, today all they could talk about was when they get to go to the actual Disney castle and visit the princesses where they really live! I guess I know where we will be for spring break :)

Special Day

It was Ella's special day in her preschool class, she was talking about it for a week she was so excited. When the time came she decided she wanted to bring popcorn and cookies for her special treat for all her friends and brought her favorite pony since the letter of the week was P. The highlight was that she got to bring Ashley to class with her. Ashley was beyond excited and LOVED hanging with the big kids, she was not a happy camper when it was time to go.

Halloween Happiness

We had an eventful week of Halloween fun! Started with a costume party at our house, 18 kids age 5 and under and amazingly everyone got along and had a great time...I think that is pretty impressive with that many kiddos! Sunday we went to my friend Lacey's halloween party for the kids and wow did she out do herself, there were a ton of games, arts and crafts, and so many treats! Finally it was Halloween and the kids were so excited to trick or treat. We had some neighbor friends over for pizza and then headed out in the neighborhood, once again we lucked out with the weather it was just perfect no rain, the girls made it to about half of the neighborhood and probably would have done more but this mom was completely wiped out and knew that they had more than enough candy to last us for weeks :)
